Well, hello, my friends, and welcome to the Live Inspired podcast Monday Morning Moments with John O'Leary.

Years ago, when all four of my children were back in elementary school, we had a wonderful

tradition up at the school.

For the first graders, once a week a mystery reader would show up unannounced and read to

their class.

Well, one afternoon, it was my joy to be that mystery reader.

So I snuck away from work early, parked my car in the school lot, buzzed in with the administrators.

I was laid down a hallway, up a flat of steps, and then finally to a doorway buzzing with energy from first graders.

Although I'd spoken in front of millions of people at live events in my life, it's funny.

Looking back on it, I felt so nervous preparing to walk into that room to read in front of

22 first graders. Well, that anxiety quickly faded, however,

when the teacher opened up the door, smiled at me and ushered me in, because before I could even say

a word, voices rang out from the classroom, oh my gosh. It's Patrick's dad. Our mystery reader is Patrick's dad.

Friends, that job title, not only for Patrick, but for each of my four children, is my favorite job

title in life. Yes, I love being best husband.

I'm grateful to be Susan and Denny's son. I cherish being a sibling to Jim and Katie and Amy and

Susan and Laura. And I strive to be a good neighbor, a faithful friend, a compelling speaker,

and a successful

business owner.

But my favorite job title, by far.

Dad.

It's dad.
