Charlie speaks LIVE in front of TPUSA Faith's first annual Pastors Summit in front of 400+ pastors and church leaders in San Diego, Calif. Charlie welcomes these church leaders from across the nation who came to get equipped to better do the two most important things a pastor can do: 1) Bring more souls into the Kingdom and 2) being able to do the first. Charlie—and then Pastor Rob and Charlie—lay the foundation for why the Church is obligated by both the Kingdom of God and their country on earth, to be devoted to protecting and preserving each. Find out why Charlie and Rob starting this movement in the first place, and what they believe will happen if the church finally gets activated.

0:50.9 | for those of you that kind of follow us and have been seeing we have we did our young women's leadership summit in early June for |
0:58.0 | 2,500 young women just a couple weeks ago we had our student action summit 5,000 students in Tampa Florida last week we nearly doubled the size of our staff and just at all of that we have this amazing |
1:11.1 | pastor summit here and so the the T.P. USA staff if you see them thank them they are doing such a remarkable job for liberty and for freedom and for our country |
1:20.4 | so I want to just start by kind of framing these next couple days what is T.P. USA Faith what is that exactly well a year ago we launched this project in this program with a heart and a desire to try and help you America's pastors to speak boldly with conviction and clarity as our liberties and freedom seem to a road seemingly by the hour now |
1:47.9 | if the American church does not rise up with boldness western civilization will be something that we tell our grandkids about |
1:55.9 | now a couple years ago I met my now pastor Rob McCoy who you will hear from in just a second and pastor Rob is amazing and I was always kind of uncertain about talking about these sorts of issues you could say |
2:09.8 | and then I met pastor Rob at an event at Liberty University and Rob challenged me said Charlie if you're a Christian and you're fighting for liberty every single day that's the same cause |
2:20.8 | he said it's God's heart for his people to set the captives free and he's and so Rob invited me to speak at his church I never spoke at a church before by the way I was originally raised Presbyterian where you know let's just say the congregation would never go and give a speech you just kind of attend and leave and then I went to harvest Bible |
2:39.5 | chapel I think land is here somewhere in suburb of Chicago had an amazing impact on my life and really led me closer to the Lord and but I was I was always uncertain about speaking at a church and be honest I don't get very nervous speaking but I was super nervous before speaking at Rob's church and it was amazing I realized that the church community at God speak was hungry for this message that they wanted to be told that it's okay to care about current events that they should be talking about. |
3:08.5 | I think it's a great chance that they should do something like their local school boards and that Christians have a moral and biblical commandment to actually contest in the public square and so one church led to another I spoke at Jack Hibbs church and then of course COVID happened and I've never been more wrong in my life about something I made a public prediction that the American churches were going to resist lockdowns and be the leaders against all this nonsense I said I don't know way I mean the American church won't put up with this. |
3:37.5 | Now many of you did and you deserve to be thanked and encouraged for that that's why you're here by the way. |
3:44.5 | So thank you thank you thank you thank you I see so many of you here pastor Todd and pastor Joe I see so many of you here but let's be honest you're in the minority so when I started to speak at many of your churches here Steve Smotherman's church for one in 2020 many of you started to tell me something similar I'm the only one. |
4:04.5 | I don't know one other pastor maybe one or two that are fighting against this I said really I was just an albacurky with a guy that's talking just like you I was just in bang or main or I was at pastor Gary's church and it seems as if you guys need to get to know each other because you might feel like you're the only one but that is a tactic from the enemy to try to make you feel as if you're an isolation and confusion. |
4:29.5 | And so we got to thinking we prayed about it and we never had any sort of plan to do this before we said what if we start a program where we use some of the expertise that we had on college and high school campus organizing and just try to do something meaningful in America's churches now when you try to do anything in the faith space the immediate question you get is Charlie what is your stance are you pre-tribble post trip I was like okay really that took you about 30 seconds in fact there's a past. |
4:58.5 | There's a pastor who's not here who refused to attend because he said we were not clear enough on our theology before this and look we believe in the NIC and create we believe Jesus is king we believe in the inerrancy of scripture and I'll allow you guys to settle all the other theological differences. |
5:18.5 | It's not my field we're here for liberty everybody we're here to set the captives free okay and I love those theological disputes I think it's fun it's spirit it's important however if we just focus on that we're going to be having those debates from prison and we're just going to be disagreeing on you know pre-trib post trip you know see in the yard tomorrow okay great. |
