My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are here, that you see me, that you hear me.

I adore you with profound reverence.

I ask your pardon for my sins and the grace to make this time of prayer fruitful.

My Immaculate Mother St. Joseph, my father, and Lord, my guardian angel, and

deceit for him. With your permission, Lord Jesus Christ, truly present into blessed sacrament,

every theme that is derived from the gospel is the ideal theme to bring to the Lord's attention when we adore him,

praise him, honor him in the blessed sacrament.

But there's a special theme that at least implicitly, we're always taken to our prayer, we're always

examining ourselves on, and it's the most excellent gift we have. And we need to mortify

our American tendencies to make successful accomplishment in absolute.

There's nothing wrong in wanting success.

I'm sure Jesus and his father Joseph

were successful coppenter's,

and they wanted to be successful.

But I couldn't imagine

taking a survey

and asking,

let's, for the sake of simplicity, a 20-year-old man or woman, what gift would you want?

If you had your choice and God would speak to you with an actual voice, with actual words, what would you want?

I probably would have said in my younger years when I wasn't literate yet.
