Welcome to the weekly sports show. It's your host pepper. We have news from all across the sports world this week. We're talking hockey, soccer, tennis, softball, and track and field, so let's get right into it.

We begin with the Rebel Report and some of the biggest news stories of the week.

First, she's back.

Mallory Swanson returned to the NWSL pitch for the first time since November 2024. The Chicago Stars and U.S.

Women's National Team Star Forward was on maternity leave last season for the birth of her daughter,

Josie. Her return means all three members of triple espresso, the nickname for the trio Mal, Sophia

Wilson, and Trinity Rodman are back in action.

We're moving fast right to the track.

Collegiate Conference Finals meets took place across the country with University of Georgia's

sprinter, De Jeanne Oakley, winning the SEC title in the 400 meter with the second fastest

time in NCAA history.

I can't wait to see what records fall at the NCAA

championships in June. Finally, women's hockey just keeps getting bigger. Last week, we talked

about the PWHL adding a new team in Detroit. Since then, they've announced not one, not two,

but three more teams with Las Vegas, San Jose, and

Hamilton, Ontario, joining the league. The PWHL now has 12 teams with the four expansion

teams starting to build their rosters before the college draft on June 17th. On the ice,

the Montreal Victoire won the Walter Cup trophy this week, which brings us to our Rebel

of the week, where we're spotlighting the victoire captain, Marie Philip Huli.

She's one of the greatest hockey players of all time, and is truly a living legend.
