We talked about this last night in Romans, the 12th chapter, and looking down about the third verse here.

Thanks be to God.

Romans 12 and 3, he said, I say through the grace given to me to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think.

Didn't say to not think highly of yourself. God thinks highly of you. You are very valuable to him.

But what he's saying is don't think more highly than you ought.

Believe in good things about yourself that are true.

It's not bad.

It's believing stuff

it's not true. Believe in things beyond.

Believing that you can do things that only God can do.

Believing that you're graced in ways that you're not.

And acting like your faith is at a place that it's not.

And talking big stuff that's just a show.

High-minded, more highly than you ought to think.

Think soberly, realistically, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Faith muscles are similar to physical body muscles.

You're either there or you not as to what you can do physically.

And you'll find a lot of people talk a big talk.

But when it comes to do it, they're not able.

They're physically just not there.

And the same thing happens with faith.

People talk a big talk.
