Look with me in Romans the first chapter, please, and let's look into some things that we started in on Monday.

In Romans the first chapter, the 16th verse talks about the good news and the gospel, and he said, I'm not ashamed of the gospel or the good news, for it is the power of God under salvation to everyone that believes, to the Jew first also to the Greek, he's talking about believing.

And verse 17, for therein in the good news is the right justness, the rightness of God revealed from faith to faith. As it is written, the just shall live by faith. Say this out

loud, revealed from faith to faith. Say it again, revealed from faith to faith. Say it again, revealed,

from faith to faith.

Is there a connection between revelation and faith?

Oh, my.

You can't separate it.

When we talk about, you know, this is chapter 1, get to chapter 10,

verse 17, so then faith comes by hearing

and hearing by the word of God or the word of Christ, the anointed word, it's talking about the same

thing, because when you hear, if you understand it, you see.

Now we use this terminology all the time.

If you don't see when you hear, you didn't understand.

That's like if you heard somebody speaking in a language that you don't speak.

Well, you heard it, but you didn't see anything when they were talking because you

didn't understand.

And the only reason our words have meaning is because they paint pictures.

Right?

If you're not seeing anything, when I'm speaking to you right now, then there's no communication.

Revelation is inseparable from faith, revealed from faith to faith.

It's progressive.
