Go to 2 Corinthians, the 5th chapter, please, verses we've been looking at throughout the week.

2 Corinthians 5.

Well known verse to many, but there's so much here we've yet to see.

2. Corinthians 5.7 says, for

we walk by faith, not

by sight.

The new century version says, we live

by what we believe, not by what we can see.

He's describing two completely different ways of living life on the earth.

Most of the inhabitants of the planet walk by living life on the earth.

Most of the inhabitants of the planet walk by sight.

They do things, they respond, they're thinking, they're believing, and it's all tied in with what they're seeing and feeling and experiencing down here in this natural realm.

But there's another way to live.

Just because circumstances change and are not good does not mean you have to cry and feel bad.

You can look at something else, something that makes you shout.

Well, you wouldn't be shouting over the problems that's going on, but you're not looking

at that, you're looking at something else. We saw earlier in the week that Jesus endured

the cross. How did he do it? For the joy that was set before him. He wasn't just looking

at what was happening and what he was feeling and the mocking and the scourging and not. He could

see something else. He could see something else he could see you he could see me

he could see the church he could see forgiveness and cleansing and us made righteous and free

and able to be his forever, purchased of the Lord.
