And you know, the thing is that a lot of people have said the middle class is the most innovative, but the ruling class is very leery of that innovation because it disrupts.

Once President Reagan delivered a national televised speech for Barry Goldwater and he said this,

either we accept the responsibility for our own destiny or we abandon the American Revolution and confess that an intellectual elite

in a far distant capital can plan our lives for us better than we can plan them for ourselves.

That is precisely what we are looking at. That is why I've asked the author of the new book,
