Earlier in the week, when I went on one of my paternity leave rants.

It's one of my core things, one of things that bugs me, about these paternity leaves.

The fathers get, you get like two weeks at some places.

And the jumping off point was what the MLB players get.

Eddie Rodriguez has a baby on Sunday,

misses a start on Tuesday night.

In Major League Baseball, the paternity leagues go from three to seven days to a max of seven days.

Three to seven is right.

These guys work six months out of the year and then you take a week?

So you stay home and tickle the baby?

I just find it insane. It's one of my core things. It's one of the problems with the world today. It's too soft? Yeah, it's millennials. Like, they're the only ones. Do you know that A. Rodriguez is the only man on the planet to have a baby? So he needs all that time because Lord knows he's got to have his. And everything else has to stop stop everything else has to stop for that guy so he can tickle his baby for a week too much compassion

oh god it's just insane someone has to work and i'm not saying i don't mind paternity maternity

i'm not i'm saying someone to stay home with the kid of course then someone else has to go to work

the world just doesn't come to a stop because

you had a baby. But that's the way these kids think nowadays. The world stops because I had a baby.

So no one's going to work. Commerce isn't going to move. Money is not going to exchange hands anywhere.

The world will just stop spinning because I had a baby. And I feel it's getting worse by the day. And I mentioned our co-worker Michael Hurley. Yep, Hurley Bird. Who I heard is taking like a six-week paternity leave. And all it really does is come in here for 45 minutes a day and write whiny deflakeet articles. But you can't take a few minutes away from the kid to come in and write a whiny deflakeate articles

should he be able to work from home anyway totally so apparently he didn't like that he took umbrage

to it and he wanted to respond so michael hurley go ahead respond so go ahead what the hell is wrong

with you what went wrong in your life this is this is what the etiquette is when someone has a baby

when your co-worker has a baby is how's the mother doing? How's the baby doing? Oh, that's nice. That's

about as much as you're allowed to weigh in on someone else as having a child. I don't know
