We're going to kick things off with the Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald on the occasion this year of its 100th anniversary.

But since we're all new here, this is our first time

at Zero to Well Red. We're going to talk a little bit first about what we're doing with this

podcast. So Rebecca and I have been stewing on something in this vein for a long time. I'm mixing

my metaphors here, though Fitzgerald does that quite a bit. So maybe I'm in the right, in the right, in the right zone of a show that engages deeply and entertainingly and sillyly

with a book, but also gives some sense of the context, right? So if you miss English class,

but also like podcast vibes,

this is the show for you. The kind of show, frankly, we would like to listen to Rebecca,

I don't think is unfair to say at this point. I think that's right. We're really aiming for the

edutainment zone with good doses of both the edu and the tainment. If you have found your way into

Jeff is the, it's been a while since we had a new podcast feed. Jeff is the CEO and one of the co-founders

of Book Riot. I am the chief of staff. We've been working together, writing about books on the

internet together since 2011, each of us individually, I think, since about 2008. So we've got a lot of

years behind us of writing and now talking about books on the internet. We've been hosting

the Book Riot podcast together for 11 or 12 years. Now, that's where we talk about news in the

world of books and reading. But we've been, you know, talking to readers professionally now for more

than a decade. And one of the things that we consistently hear is people, you know, talking to readers professionally now for more than a decade. And one of the
