I think they need to come up with a new name for what they do when they gather every year or every other year to discuss theological issues this year.

What appears to be on the front burner, the role of women in the church.

And there are some pundits who are saying the Southern Baptist Convention convention, the SBCC will either be a great confession.

Oops, we shouldn't have booted saddle back in five other churches because there are gaining women as elders.

And by the way, there's no distinction in elder if you just put an adjective in front of it, which is one of the mechanisms that is being used to say, hey, it's okay.

That saddle back has women as elders because they're still under the authority of a male.

Well, that's just not the way that it works. You can't put an adjective in front of the known elder and say, therefore, it's not that.

Well, she's not doing that thing that elders aren't supposed to be doing because she's actually underneath the authority of women.

The problem is in 1 Timothy 212. It says, I do not permit a woman to teach and have authority.
