Sasha Ashall, to break down episode 9, Petisserie Week. This is the semi-finals, you guys.

We're going to get into the episode in a minute. We have a lot of thoughts, a lot of feelings, some good, some bad. But you know we like to take a minute to talk about sort of the history of Petisserie Week on the Great British Bake

on some of our favorite past bakes, some of our thoughts on Pississerie Week just as a concept.

Um, so Amelia, I know you really, really want to talk about one specific bake. So what is your favorite

Pet history week bake in the history of this show? There was one and I'm sorry, I just like, I shows and I'm like I immediately forget a lot of stuff so that's on me

But I do remember the one season a few seasons ago when they did the freaking glass boxes the

glass cases the sugar glass cases which honestly that's an all-time just

moment for me personally.

I am a sucker for anything that's like faux glass.

I think that is so fucking cool.

And I just want to give a special shout out for Alice because she did save our oceans

sugar glass box which is just one it's like love that she cares well the

environment save the whales exactly And then not only that, but I do remember hers was like you couldn't really exactly

see a ton through the glass, which I thought I don't care about.

I just thought that that the fact that she's doing it is great and then when she

opened it up and you saw the actual cake itself was just it was one of the most

beautiful cakes I've ever seen my life so I just want to give a special shout out to her.

And I did rewatch that episode because I just

fucking loved that challenge.
