dessert week. But our usual co-host,host Amelia is she's on vacation this week and

we've called in a very special guest from across the pond. Please welcome to

the podcast real-life British person who will answer all of our questions.

Hello, hi.

Firstly, completely forgot that you call it the Great British Baking Show.

I know.

We actually do, I would say we typically call it Bake Off,

but in the intro we kind of feel like we have to stick to the American way of doing things.

Are you offended? Apologies. Tough note to start on. I was just shocked. I'm leaving. Yeah, you were like, what show are we here to discuss? I thought it was the bakeop. So it's dessert week and I always feel like this is very

silly because I'm like it's the great British bakeoff like every week is essentially

dessert week in some respect but it's do we think that it's kind of a confusing week or do you feel

like there is generally kind of like an overarching theme? How do we feel about dessert week as a concept?

I would say, I was thinking about this. I think

actually dessert does make sense because cake and biscuits is like

something that you would just like maybe have like a random point of the day as like a little like snack or like a fun thing that you

live over there. Very quaint, very twee. But like you might have just like, oh do you want a slice of cake with your cup of tea and you're like, oh go on?

I've never sounded more British.
