at this very moment is, will Governor Abbott follow through on his threat? I'm a parent of four,

so I've learned that if you make an empty threat, you're done. You're done for. You have no more

credibility. And Governor Abbott's threat is if you don't come back by 3 o'clock today, central time,

then I will, you will forfeit your house seat.

I will appoint someone to it, presumably a Republican, and you will be up for bribery charges.

We will convict you, we will arrest you for bribery

because you took money from Pritzker up in Chicago.

That's a pretty big threat.

We'll see if he follows through on that

or if the Democrats cave.

But what's the background to it all?
