In about six months into his second term, President Trump has accomplished things even his most ardent supporters never thought possible. When Trump announced he would use tariffs to rebalance unfair trade practices from other countries, most "experts" predicted gloom for the American economy. These "experts" were so used to previous Administrations -- in both political parties -- rolling over so that we could be nice to other countries, that they just couldn't believe Trump was acting so mean! Well, look what happened! Leveraging the strongest economy in the world, Trump has signed major trade deals that promise to even the playing field here in America and open new markets to American companies. But that doesn't mean there haven't been some growing pains. One caller wanted to know just how these tariffs were supposed to be good, because she was paying higher prices for everything!
