Thanks for coming this week.

I know I went up into a register where it sounded like I wasn't finishing the sentence. You know, I usually start the show by asking you did anything good or not good to happen to this week. I was sick, so I'm, you know, I haven't spoken. You know, when you live alone and you're sick. Right. You know, Jill's been great about dropping things off, but I don't want to get her sick, so she's at her place. And so you go through this like four days where you haven't, you realize, I haven't heard my voice in four days. I haven't spoken. Yeah. I guess what's not typical is to break that silence, speaking for 45 minutes uninterrupted. Yeah, yeah.

Well, I haven't had a, I haven't had a conscious thought in a few days.

But that's okay because I'm not going from my head today, gee.

I'm going from going from my gut.

Nice, nice.

Well, how does it drop off work?

Like, is she leaving stuff outside your door, or is she coming in and fucks up about it?

No, no, she's not coming in.

No.

Honestly, she doesn't seem to care when I get sick.

She's like, oh, what's the difference?

I'm like, well, the difference is then if I'm sick now, and then you get sick four days later, then that's like four, you'll be four days behind me. So it'll be faster if you just let me, you know, recover. But, you know, she'll knock on the door and then hang back on the, the, below the porch, and we'll just have a quick Okay. And then she'll say, oh, you look sick.

I'll say, I know, I know I look sick.

And then I'll slink back to the couch and lie down and watch a really weird selection of movies I've chosen this.

Oh, okay.
