my co-host, R.D. Veer Camp. Hello. So in last week's patron episode, we discussed Robert

F. Kennedy Jr.'s nomination to lead the Department of Health and Human Services under the

incoming Second Trump administration.

Now, over the last week, additional announcements have been made about nominees for other key health

agency roles, giving us a clearer picture of the figures who may shape health and welfare policy

over the next four years. So today, we're going to talk through four more nominees and one

top candidate for other important administration jobs. First, we'll discuss the nomination of daytime television personality and

wellness crank, Dr. Mehmet Oz, to the head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services,

known as CMS. Next is Dr. Dave Weldon, nominated to lead the Centers for Disease Control and

Prevention or the CDC.

Weldon, a former Florida congressman, is best known for blending conservative stances on health care,

such as being vehemently anti-abortion with anti-vaccine rhetoric.

Then we have Dr. Jeanette Neshawat, a Fox News correspondent and author of a book about the power of prayer in health care, who has been nominated for

Surgeon General. And we have Dr. Marty McCarrie, who has been nominated to head the Food and Drug
