Summary

Episode 66 - This week we go back in time to 1878 in Amherst Nova Scotia. We learn about one of Canada’s most documented and as yet unexplained paranormal events. Esther Cox, an ordinary 18-year-old in the town was at the center of these horrific psychic attacks, some people believe to have been poltergeists. It began with the feeling of something under the bed, odd noises and Esther suffering a weird illness. The events went on for months, eventually led to items flying around the home and mysterious fires being set seemingly out of nowhere. In the second half of the show we speak to paranormal investigator, author, teacher and media personality, Morgan Knudsen of entityseeker.ca. She gives us some insight into the case of Esther Cox as well as some others including those included in Blue Ant Media’s Paranormal 911 which can be seen here in Canada on Sunday nights at 8:00 pm Eastern. The views, information and opinions expressed during the Dark Poutine podcaster solely those that

1:04.7

global news nor their parent company course entertainment. Dark Poutine is not for the

1:09.4

faint of harder squeamish. Listener discretion is strongly advised. We're not experts on the topics

1:14.9

we present nor are we journalists. We're two ordinary Canadians chatting about crime and the

1:20.5

darker side of history. And this one is a little on the darker side of history. It is. It should be

1:26.0

exciting. Let's get to it. Put on your two. Grab yourself a double double and an animal bar.

It's time to scarf down some dark poutine.

2:35.4

It helps us get some, we're out of pocket going to this and so it just helps take care of some

things to the more people who use our code. So Poutine19. Yep. And if we get more people using that

2:46.8
