But first, I want to get to some news of the day and some news of the week.

Marjorie Taylor Green's surprise departure from Congress could prove that there may be

an inception and inflection point happening right now in Congress. Punchball news is reporting that

several GOP lawmakers told Punch Bowl news that they too are considering retiring before their term ends.

Quote, more explosive early resignations are coming.

This is one unnamed senior House Republican telling the outlet,

quote, it's a Tinderbox morale has never been lower.

Now, according to this Congressperson, members are eyeing the exits

because of ongoing tensions.

They say with the White House, they're saying Mike Johnson has done nothing to remedy those tensions.

They're saying, quote, the entire White House team has treated all members like garbage.

And Mike Johnson has let it happen because this is what he wanted to happen.

That is a sentiment of nearly all appropriators,

authorizers, hawks, dubs, rank, and file.
