NATO has rejected membership for Ukraine.

The organization saying today they won't commit to admitting Ukraine to NATO

until Russia, quote, has been defeated.

NATO says they will look toward an Israel-style relationship with Ukraine for now.

Ukraine president Zelensky accusing NATO of having, quote, a lack of respect.

President Trump's attorneys move to postpone his trial.

Federal judge Eileen Cannon originally scheduled the Trump documents trial

to begin just over a month from today.

Marx's special counsel, Jack Smith, had then asked to push the trial

until December to give Trump's attorneys time to get security

clearances to be able to review classified documents.

The president's attorneys have now responded, asking judge

Cannon to push the trial back even further, asking that the trial date

be set sometime after the 2024 presidential election,

saying proceeding to trial during the pendency of a presidential election

cycle wherein opposing candidates are effectively, if not literally,

directly adverse to one another in this action

will create extraordinary challenges in jury selection

and limit the defendant's ability to secure a fair and impartial adjudication.
