So in the first episode this week then, we heard how Nicholas and Elizabeth Newell, a middle-aged

couple from the Channel Island of Jersey, had been reported missing. A mass search was carried out

for them, members of their family, including the sons, Roderick and Mark, had all arrived over

to assist in the search and inquiries had been made as far reaching as Spain and the UK mainland.

But after two weeks, with no trace of the couple found, police were now considering their

disappearance as sinister. They were becoming increasingly certain that they were dealing
