I'm going to talk about the grace for living simply, and this will be the fifth

installment in this series. I'm from a spiritual DNA from a man by the name of Nolan Ball

in Panama City, Florida that preached a 73-week series on the word of. So just be praying that this grace for living simply thing will get finished

and we can move on to something else.

I'm just loving it.

It's changing my life.

And I'm sort of just,

you're just having to endure eavesdropping on a conversation of how God's wrecking my existence.

And so thank you for being patient with that.

We're going to start at 2 Timothy chapter 2, verses 3 through 10. Paul is writing from prison.

It's actually believed Paul was put in prison in 2nd Timothy twice. On one occasion, he's released.

On the other occasion, he's put back in. A lesser charge, he believed to be released from the first occasion he's put back in a lesser charge he believed to be

released from the first time he was in prison the second charge was so significant that paul is

going ahead and accepting the fact that his life's going to end in death so he's actually writing

to timothy on the eve of his impending death concerning his heart commitment to the gospel.

2 Timothy chapter 2 verse 1 says,

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses

commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others

also, verse three, you therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
