Next on In Touch, the Gospel of the Grace of God.

Somebody walks up to you as a believer and says, what is this gospel I keep hearing about?

You Christians talk about you believe the gospel. Do you believe that? And more than likely

you would say yes if you are a Christian. And so they should say to you, well, what is that

gospel? What is that you believe about it? That is, what, what's this gospel business all about?

How would you answer that question as a Christian, if somebody were to say to you, what is, what's this gospel business all about? How would you answer that question as a Christian, if somebody were to say to you,

what is this gospel?

Well, that's what I want to talk about in this message,

entitled, The Gospel of the Grace of God.

And this is one of our messages in the series on the grace of God, a second chance.

That is God's second chance for us.

And I want you to turn, if you will, to Acts chapter 20.

And in Acts chapter 20, Paul makes a statement here about the gospel that I think describes

for us his view of what this gospel was all about.

He gave his life, he gave those years of his life

to spread that gospel all over his known world. And so as we think about what it is, I want

us to take a look at this passage here. Beginning in verse 16, the scripture says, for Paula

decided to sail past Ephesus in order that he might not have to spend time in Asia,

though he was hurrying to be in Jerusalem, if possible, on the day of Pentecost.

Now, this was very important to Paul at this particular time in his life,

and so he sailed by some very important people who were very dear to him.
