And if you look at some of these recent polls, well, it looks like there's a lot of writing on the wall for the GOP.

Well, I would say voters were already in a very sour mood about the economy that has carried over from Biden to Trump.

Their lives really haven't gotten any better under Trump,

and that was really his central promise of his 2024 campaign.

notably the war in Iran, which is the most unpopular war in American history.

gas prices that Americans notice on a day-to-day basis, the war in Iran, and then just the

general chaos of the White House, I think that's putting Republicans in a very precarious position heading into the midterms.

And I called them up while Mary's away because this week, Senate Republicans are hoping to make a splash by putting this big bill up for a vote.

But this legislation senators are going to debate. It won't

tackle cost of living. It's got nothing to do with foreign policy. This is all about the Save America

Act, which, if passed, would give President Trump sweeping new powers over how Americans vote.

And he's not being shy about what the ultimate goal is here.
