I'm going to sound like a broken record talking about gun violence again,

but the United States have did itself and we are the deadliest weekend of mass shootings all year.

Over a three day period and I'm talking about from Friday to Sunday,

there were 17 people killed, at least 82 people wounded in Philadelphia, in Chattanooga, in Omaha,

cities and towns coast to coast, someone brought a gun to a public event and just started fucking shooting.

And yet a full 44% of Republicans have been brainwashed into believing that mass murder is simply the price we pay for freedom.

Republicans, if you're listening, gun violence isn't freedom, it's fucking insanity.

But people are hurting, families are, parents are, and look, it's divided as our country is this gun responsibility issue,

is one that we agree on more than we don't. It really is.

But this should be a nonpartisan issue.

There is not a democratic or Republican value in one single act of these shooters.

It's not. But people in power have failed to act, so we're asking you.
