On this week's episode, we are discussing an all-time 80s classic, The Goonies.

Give you a little bit of a plot synopsis here.

A group of young misfits called the Goonies discover an ancient map and set out on an adventure to find a legendary pirate's long-loss treasure. So this is released in

1985, directed by Richard Donner, and got to give you a heads up. There are going to be

spoilers for this review and all of the retro reviews of older movies we're going to be doing

in the coming months. So just wanted to put that warning out there.

But I know there are a lot of fans of the Goonies out there.

Some of us grew up with this movie.

Some people are not as much a fan of the Goonies.

Some people just don't like adventure and fun.

And, well, let's just find out how each of us feel about this movie. But I mean, let's, uh, let's get into our backgrounds

with the Goonies. Now, how many of us were Goonies kids? How many of us loved the Goonies

when we were young? Gooners? How many of us were goonies kids. How many of us loved the Goonies when we were young?

Gooners. How many of us were gooners? I mean, I was definitely a gooner big time as a kid.

And I watched this movie like a lot of people, I guess my age, a number of times, really enjoyed it.
