Today is Monday March 1st 2021. We made it through the first two months of 2021. It's so exciting.

I'm John Pajor. It's the editor of commentary magazine with me as always executive editor,

a brainwalled hi-aib senior writer, Christine Rosen, high Christine and associate editor Noah

Rothman. So guys the COVID, the long-term COVID news continues to get better even as the day-to-day

news is still tragic. So we have the we have the official approval. I think it will come today because

the CDC director has signed off on it but the official approval of the third vaccine, Johnson and

Johnson which of course is God's End because it's a single dose. It can be stored at room temperature

which means that basically anyone can get it anywhere. They can send people into the homes of the

home you know into the homebound to get shots and and later on assuming that as I think we can

assume it will be okay for teenagers and kids to get it. This is this is the way that all of the

controversies involving the question of transmission in schools at camps in athletic programs and

everything out that will be answered and addressed assuming that Johnson and Johnson can produce

sufficient amounts of the vaccine which apparently is a bit of a question they're behind on their

manufacturer. Even more important I think are the bits of evidence that are coming out of Israel

and studies and everything else that suggests that not only do these three vaccines

lessen the effect of COVID if you should get it and get the vaccine in the middle of it

but also prevent it from entering your body or if you get sick you only get a very little bit sick

and apparently inhibit transmission which is the goal that's what we need that's what we want most

is to make sure that the vaccine inhibits transmission which means that its effect is not simply to

protect you from the vaccine but to protect everybody else from you so we no longer will need

to be protected from you once you are vaccinated and that that really gives us a window to the end
