Several years ago, my wife and I were at a Starbucks and a young man stole her iPhone.

Literally snatched it off the table in front of us, ripped her earbuds out and went

running out the door.

Which was fascinating.

Because you always kind of wonder, like when those moments come, like what am I going

to do?

Like what were my instinctual response?

My wife was to yell and she yelled, get him, babe.

So that moment, what are you going to do?

I'm good.

It's time to roll.

So I kicked my flip flops off and I went running out the door after the guy and we turned

to corner and there was a security vehicle.

So I started calling for security until I figured out that it was his buddy driving the security

car, which how they procured that I don't know.

But all in a minute, he jumped in the car.

I grabbed the window and his buddy hit the gas.

So we went rolling down the road together, the two of them in the vehicle and me hanging

from the window.

Which was interesting.

Because I had been preaching all week to high school students and these guys were around

the same age.
