Spring here, finally in Door County.

So feeling it.

So giddy.

I'm feeling it.

I'm feeling it. Today we ran into town for coffee. The kids and I

and got out of the truck and we all just sort of stood there like, just the sun was shining.

Life is better when there is sunshine. Life is so much. Nobody wanted to go inside. We all just

stood at the back door, just taking it in.

I know everybody's been experiencing this for a good four weeks now, but here in the north, the hyacinth, they're just blooming. So we're just. Oh, golly. Yeah, I know, I know, I know, I know. Every year. But we're giddy. were just like, oh, I said, I walked outside and I just felt like this thing in my

countenance and I just said out loud, oh, there you are. To myself. It's called myself.

I'm back. We filled our, remember last year we bought that above ground pool? Yeah, yeah.

We filled it up. It looks like frogs could live in it because we still have to do

all this stuff. But we sat out in picnic tables overlooking the uncut grass with like little

pockets of trash here and there, our green swampy pool. I was so happy. I was so happy. It's like even amongst this, like I'll tend to this,

but being able to be outside, breathe fresh air, feel the sunshine. Holy cow. Wow. Just wow.

56 degrees here it was today. We're just like, time to go streaking.

Glory B. It was just great. Yeah. Yeah. One of my kids had the audacity to mention winter next year.

And I said, you shut your face.

Shut your face. That of which we do not speak.

Honestly. We have this rule in our house. You can't, like, you can't rush summer. So I have

an August birthday. Mine's in July. Then there's an August one. And then there's a September one.
