ferocious assaults, kidnappings, burglaries, stalkings, and at least 50 rapes and 13 murders.

These unforgivable assaults and killings were at the hands of one lone disturbed figure

who was hidden in plain sight by day and lurking

in the shadows by night. Victims, potentially numbering in their hundreds, were both taunted and

terrified before, during, and after their encounters with the killer, with numerous victims

holding dialogue with him whilst being bound, and others receiving unsettling phone calls after the

encounter.

Due to the variation and the volume of the crimes, as well as the lack of evidence left behind after each horrific attack, many of the cases went cold, and some were even completely forgotten about.

that investigators were able to trace and link dozens of historic crimes to a seemingly ordinary
