I'm Sizzy Larson, and always honored to get to spend this time with you.

In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk,

the deep in your understanding of God's Word, and that heightens your awareness of his very

real presence in your life. Well, I love the power of a story, and you may hear me say this often,

that God is writing an amazing epic story with your life, and the temptation of what the enemy

wants is for you to be so stuck in the small story in the hard chapters that you forget that God ultimately will have this last say.

The enemy will not have the last say.

And one of the reasons I love Christian fiction is it reminds me of that.

A good biblical fiction novelist will take you into a story of intrigue, of twists and turns, of, you know, biblical history.

And so you get kind of context.

And then, I mean, you know this.

If you've listened to me, my favorite novelist is Tessa Afshar.

And she happens to be a good friend, too.

But I can't tell you how many times I've been reading one

of her novels, like I'm on the plane on a way to an event or on the way home, and I put the novel on my chest, and I just pray about something in my life because her stories inspire faith in me. And so that's why I'm so grateful to have my precious friend. And as I said, one of my favorite novelist on the show today. She's also an award-winning Bible study author.
