One of the subtle and yet effective way by which Hollywood has managed to marred the image of God

0:11.5

was by marting the image of the father in the home. For the past 20 years, every sitcom have persistently presented the image of

0:27.1

a father in the home as a bumbling idiot, clueless, disposable and replaceable, unloving, uninvolved, a sperm donor, insecure and helpless, of equal or less value

0:45.9

than the family pet.

0:47.6

These are all from sitcoms that I've been airing in the last 20 years.

the father is their best friend. This is a secular statistic, so it has nothing to do with Christianity.

2:12.6

But here's the biblical facts, and you need to understand, as I need to understand, that Jesus Christ, the Son of God,

2:20.3

who came to tell us and revealed to us what God the Father is like, he said, God is a Father,

2:29.3

to everyone who would come and take the son as the savior of the life.

2:35.9

He's the father.

2:38.1

And the story that we call the parodical son is all about the father.

2:44.5

It's about the heart of the father.

2:47.1

It is about the character of the father.
