This is Homa Ashad. She's a consultant trauma and orthopedic surgeon and on the evening she's describing she's a middle-aged married mother of two. I thought I knew

the world. Normally she works in the hospital, but a medical training course has taken her away from home for a night.

And at the end of the day, an older male colleague walks her back to the place she's staying and invites himself in.
