Hey, this is Brennan from The Ghost Story, guys. Before we get started, I wanted to take a minute

to acknowledge the massive loss that our little podcasting community has suffered.

That is, of course, the passing of Dan from Real Life Ghost Stories. Dan was a young guy,

who was younger than I am, and to call this a fucking tragedy doesn't even come close to covering it.

The episode you're about to hear was recorded prior to Dan's passing, so you won't hear me and

Paul talk about it on the show itself, but please know that me and him and Luke and Anthony and

Sarah are all united in sending our best wishes to Emma, Dan's wife, and to their extended families.

To everyone else, take care of each other. It's been a hard, hard year, man, and the only thing we

can be sure of is that our time on this planet is limited, and the only thing that makes it worth

living is loving each other. So if there's someone you care about, grab them, tell them you love them,

and if we string together enough moments like that, we'll be able to get through this and whatever

else. Life throws at us in the years to come.
