Hello, hello, and welcome.

So I was thinking the other day, if a historian seeks

to write a book highlighting what it was like to live

on Earth at this moment, the title of the book

should obviously be, quote, this is why we can't have

nice things, right?

It feels like right now, whatever is nice,

whatever we're enjoying, it's like, nope, can't have it,

take it away, has to be ruined.

Yesterday, I had my Facebook memories, this image popped up,

and it was so funny.

I had to picture of my dad, caught Corksaiya,

Nick's game, and he's cheering, and he looked so excited,

just so excited that the nicks are playing.

And it kind of took me back, and I remembered what it was like

when we as a society actually had nice things, sports.

That was one of those nice things that it seems like we had.

I grew up in the 90s, and my family didn't have that much money.

And we couldn't spend money then on all the desired cable

channels, but my dad was super crafty.

And he had what was a hot box,

you know, those black boxes, super illegal.
