It is finally warm and beautiful in Chicago. Speaking of beautiful, what is the most beautiful thing of all? I'll tell you what it is. It's love. Love is the thing. It's the thing that solves problems. It's the thing that gets us where we're going. It's thing that gets us back to where we wish we could be. Love is the thing. That's why 1st Corinthians 13 says love never fails. But we're going to be in John 13. Jesus Christ himself teaching on the glory of love. Thank you for your faithful interest in this teaching. I hope it blesses you this weekend.

0:49.3	Please do reach your Bible. When I started my series, our series, called Authentic Jesus on the Gospel of John,
0:59.3	I set my sights on some particular passages that I was kind of looking forward to.
1:05.2	And this morning, as we get to the end of the first of five chapters in the Upper Room Discourse,
1:10.7	we're calling this Authentic Oneness, the Upper Room five chapters in the upper room discourse. We're calling this authentic
1:11.8	oneness, the upper room discourse, John 13 through John 18. And this morning, by God's grace,
1:17.8	we're going to finish the first of those five chapters. How many people are reading them,
1:21.5	reading them every day, reading them, reading them, reading them, reading them, reading them,
1:24.7	they will saturate your life and change your heart.
1:28.6	And John 13, starting in verse 31, if you're ready to jump in, say jump.
1:34.7	Here it is.
1:35.6	John 1331, when he had gone out.

1:41.2	Judas, right?
1:42.5	And last time we were in this section, we learned about Judas and his betrayal.
1:48.5	Jesus said, what you're going to do, do quickly. John 1327. I love that. Jesus is willing himself,
1:57.7	you know, like exercising his will. He's willing himself to go to the cross. Sometimes we have to
2:04.5	will ourselves to do things that are not easy to do. And he's willing himself to go to the cross,
2:12.7	the suffering, the shame, the separation from God the Father. I've called this message the glory of love.
