Without a doubt, the largest section of any bookstore or category online is self-help.

And the phrase seems odd, doesn't it?

My life is in a mess, so who can I turn to to fix it?

Oh, I know.

Me.

And so I'm the one that messed it up, surely I'm the one to fix it.

Well, one question, how is that working out for you so far?

Admiring and glorifying your own abilities and worth?

Well the theme of this meditation from 1 Chronicles 29 is glory, but not yours, divine glory,

the glory of God, the high-renowned magnificence and honor given to God for who He is and what

He has done, glory reserved for Him and Him alone.

So to begin your meditation, slip into a time of wonder, a place of reverence, and a

moment to humble yourself and consent your soul to the worship of God, Spirit and Son.

Start by listening and responding to this prayer from Isaiah chapter 12 and respond

Heavenly Father, the glory is yours.

I trust you to save me, Lord God, and I will not be afraid.

For Heavenly Father, the glory is yours.

My power and my strength come from you and you have saved me.

For Heavenly Father, the glory is yours.

And with great joy, I will get water from the well of victory.

Heavenly Father, the glory there is yours.

And at that time, you will say, our Lord, we are thankful and we worship only you.
