The Girl Killed Twice Every day, there are people out there who

were able to survive horrific ordeals.

For those who believe in a higher power, these instances are usually considered miraculous.

And that would have been the case for this first story, but something sinister seemed

to envelop the case.

And what's worse is that until the day, who it was, remains unknown.

On October 19, 1984, in a neighborhood in Osaka, Japan, while playing outside two-year-old

Makiko Tuchiyama, was seen lying unconscious in a drainage ditch not far from where she lived.

There was visible bruising on her neck and her family rushed her to the hospital to

try to save her life.
