For some people, their gifts aren't always the most welcome ability.

For Melissa and Mindy, they're both sensitive, or if they have the sight, or whatever you want to call it,

they can see, hear, and or talk to dead people.

And sometimes it's a beautiful thing.

Sometimes it's downright terrifying.

First up, we'll talk to Melissa, a lighting designer who doesn't know a time where she

was in encountering spirits.

Then we'll travel to the Appalachian Mountains where Mindy already had a ghost problem.

Then her parents had to start buying and selling antiques.

You can see me in the dark presents, Melissa. Growing up, my parents had this thing called the Melissa test.

And I always thought it was weird and I'm like, okay, and it basically consisted of me

spending time with a person that they were considering kind of bringing

into the fold.

And I guess they just wanted to make sure that I felt like it was cool and it could be

that we all went out with rice cream or they came over or a variety of different activities.
