by your daughter Valerie? That was my wedding present to Valerie and

Walt and they read the book out loud together on their honeymoon and sent me a

telegram from the Virgin Islands telling me how much the book had meant to them.

So they both loved it.

It is not only for women who are getting married, it's not about marriage, it's about femininity. And to my astonishment, I had a number of men tell me that

they learned more about what it means to be a man through reading let me be a woman

than any other book they'd ever read. And I thought, well, it takes a tough man to go around with a book called Let Me Be a Woman.

I mean, he would have to put it in a plain brown wrapper wouldn't he?

But in deference to the timid men who would not want to read,
