Summary

When we get born again, we receive a new nature and become as perfect and flawless in God’s eyes as Jesus, Himself. God sees everyone who has accepted Christ as completely righteous. However, we’ll still continue falling short and committing sinful acts while on our Christian journey. The difference between the old and the new is that God no longer holds our sins against us because our old, sinful selves have died. We’re not what we do, and we don’t become sinners again when we sin; our new identity is based in Jesus, not in Adam.

0:55.9	but it's like we ignore it and we kind of go over it and everybody's thinking about it,
1:00.3	but we're not addressing it. So I'm going to talk about sinning after you've been born again.
1:08.6	We always talk about sin, you know, back in the day when you were a
1:16.6	sinner, as if you got born again and you stopped.
1:21.6	Mighty quiet in here, isn't it?
1:26.6	So we're going to address the elephant that's been in church for years.
1:34.3	What's the deal with sinning after you get born again.
1:46.0	Does that happen?
1:46.9	Yeah.
1:54.8	Am I going to be giving you a license and an okay to sin?
