me tell you a story. On an island in the northern hemisphere, there is a small community called

the Cadyan. In the summer, the Cadyan sprawl like a brightly colored bizarre around the sleeping

body of a giant feeling creature sheltered from the sun by its massive shadow. The summer weather

is mild, warm rains and humid winds. The people sleep on woven rugs and the open air, trusting and

unafraid. The Cadyan have heard of lies and thievery and murder, but those are foreign peculiarities

in the shadow of their sleeping giant they have nothing to fear. In the winter, they pack up their

belongings and make the long hike onto the giant's back. They spend the frigid winter months

sleeping in the warm dense forest of the giant's fur. The fur extends far over the heads of

even the tallest men, sheltering them from the blizzards and the biting cold. They live off dry

provisions and kegs of wine repaired during a long summer months. It is easy to get lost in the fur,
