So, buddy, my hi from last week has come down a bit. We have another game to play, and I realize it's going to be a lot of backups. But, you know, the next day I was flying high. I know it's preseason, but we're three and oh. And there's a lot of things to like about this team. But it's going to be very interesting, man, going into Thursday night, pal.

Yeah, there's some jobs. Even Sherman said it today. There's still some jobs out there. You know, the receiver position, you got to think about that, right? Tight-end position. Who's going to back up? Who's a swing tackle? I mean, Will has kind of dropped behind. He's been hurt. so this is still this is going to be listen it's not going to be an important game to

Eli and his thought is, this is going to be,

listen, it's not going to be an important game to Eli and his start is, but it's going to be an important game to a lot of guys, man, uh, to see, it's going to be to probably, you know, whatever these, some of these guys do Thursday night, um, Sherman's going to decide whether not, they stay a go, man.

So, you know, once again, Jerry, I know

preseason games, people look down on them,

they're wasted and this and that. But, you know, these, this people, coaches want to see players on the field against another team, you know, and. Yeah, I mean, I've always liked preseason because we're buffoons, right? We watch the back of the roster. I don't have, I, I've never had a

problem with preseason. I always get excited for it. I mean, it's the one time of year. If your team doesn't play well, you can say, well, it's only preseason. If they play well, you say, well, look, come on, they're, you know, they're still playing against the NFL caliber players. so you know you kind of have the best of both worlds but no i i enjoy preseason i'm i'm looking

forward to th. I know that what Daniel Jones is going to start. I don't know how long he's going to play. But I would imagine it's going to be Tanny and Laletta getting the bulk of the action now. Yeah. And guess what, yeah? It's going to be big for them. Yeah, huge. Because right now, you know, La Lett is passed up Tanny. He's passed them up. It's amazing because a couple weeks ago, we were like, La Letta looks like on his way up. Yeah, well, this is, you know, this is what happens. Right, exactly. Tany was looking way better. But now the last few weeks, last game, the Loretta looks better.

And he is, you know, don't forget, he is Shermer and Gettleman's draft pick, right?

Yeah, yeah, yes.

So, all right, so we'll see, man, you know, the letter look, I mean, Tanny has not looked good, Jerry.

He has not looked good last game. He has not looked good in practice. And Luleta has looked a little bit better. No question about it. Because in practice, even the ones I went to, he was lighting it up. And you were saying it from the start, like, man, Tanny looks like better than everybody right now. But yeah, Lilletta went from really falling out of favor to maybe uh maybe making the roster

like you said he was he was a draft pick of guttelman I mean it's intriguing to me it's it's

intriguing enough to watch the whole thing not just because we cover the team but um you know like

i said friday night guys we're going to do our 53 man roster but i believe i have saved what we said last time, which would be kind of comical. And I'm not counting that we cut the X-Man last time because we forgot. But it would be interesting to see how much things have changed since, what, two months ago when we just kind of threw it out there. But that'll be Friday night. That'll be pretty much the whole episode. We'll do offense and defense.

And I don't know if we're getting into the practice squad, but maybe we'll just say in passing, this guy will probably be a practice squad member. Yeah, listen, Tideon is an intriguing position too. Yeah. I mean, who makes it? We're assuming, right, Jerry, he's going to go with four again. That's what he did last year. Yeah, yeah.
