Buddy, uh, got an interesting article today. Found one. Uh, our buddy

Giants online, Eddie sent it to us. Uh, stunning. Stunning. Stunning is the, is the,

right word. Eye opening, um, disgusting. I don't know what you want to call it, but written by a former scout on the Giants in

1996, Greg Gabriel.

And we discussed this a few weeks ago.

And it came about because I said, the Giants are picking sixth.

And I can basically name 9, 10, and I think it's up to like 15 guys now that I would

take at 6 and I'm okay with it, right? There's so many different guys that whatever they do,

you know, for the most part, I'm fine with it. Well, in 1996, we always said that the four

picks that went ahead of them, the Giants picking fifth that year, were Keishon Johnson,

Kevin Hardy, Simeon Rice, and Jonathan Ogden.

And then the Giants were picking fifth.

And like the rest of the world, the Giants apparently were just hoping that one of those four

would fall.

I don't know if they lit a candle at St. Patrick's Cathedral or what to hope that happens.

But much to our surprise, I mean, it's one thing for us, two buffoons watching the

draft to say, oh, crap, what do they do now, take Terry Glenn?

But George Young, Dan Reeves, these guys had no idea what to do at fun.
