Before we get into that, man, look, Eli Manning, a lot of mixed emotions once they made the call.

And it's one that, make no secret, I've made no secret that I've wanted this call since week one, right?

Since we saw Daniel Jones, since you saw him in camp, since we saw him in preseason, I thought it was the right move.

But look, man, Eli Manning has been the Giants quarterback for, Jones since you saw him in camp, since we saw him in preseason, I thought it was the right move.

But look, man, Eli Manning has been the Giants quarterback for, you know, 15 plus years or whatever it is, 16 plus years, 56,000 passing yards.

I never thought anything could ever beat in 1986.

But when they, when the Giants in 2007 beat the Patriots, I thought that was the single greatest victory in the history of the Giants.

I Manning is on the Mount Rushmore of giant players.

He's been a great person.

He's been a great ambassador to the game, to the Giants.

And I think most of all, I loved, absolutely loved, and I've written this before.

I loved that I never had to explain to my kids when they wore his jersey of any off-field indiscretions or stupidity.

It was an easy one to buy for them. They wore it with

pride, and it's not his fault that the last five to six years of his career were absolutely wasted.

He's 116 and 116. I'm glad they're making this move so he doesn't have a losing record. He's going to go

into the Hall of Fame one day, ring of honor very shortly, but, you know, look, man, this is a thank you to Elon Manning for a hell of a career. And I think the farther he gets away from the game, the more he's going to be beloved. Because look, to me, he's more than Jeter is to the Yankees. Because I say that because Jeter was never the focal point of the Yankees. He was never the, I don't think he was ever the best player in that lineup. There were times where Eli Manning was the best player on the Giants and you look at 2011. So Eli Manning, thank you for everything. Tremendous career, but unfortunately, bud, father time catches up to all of us, man.
