Hey, Giant Fans. Welcome to the Giant Insider podcast. My name is Jerry Foley. I am the senior editor of the Giant Insider newspaper. And with me as always is the beat writer of the Giant Insider, Chris Bisignano, the man who was in the locker room with the New York Football Giants on almost a daily basis. Well, Chris, it's week 17. The season flew by. I can't believe it's here.

Unfortunately, we're not playing for a playoff spot. And I remember going to the draft and seeing

Sequin's name called and being ecstatic about the hopes and dreams of this team this year. And

yeah, pretty much went up and smoke very early. The Giants started to play well later on in the season, and then we all know they were

officially eliminated a couple weeks ago.

Those of us on the buffoon crew held out hope to the last minute.

Those hopes were dashed.

But I don't know, buddy.

I'm a little depressed about this week coming up. The game means nothing to either team,

and they're just playing out the schedule now. And I know that every team wants to finish strong,

and they say it carries over until next year. But it is what it is, man. It's week 17. The season

flew by, and now we're just playing for draft position, it seems.

Yep, it's been pretty fast, Jerry.

I remember we were going through the draft and OTAs and training camp and here we are,

but, right?

Last week, it is kind of depressing.

We expected more out of the season.

It didn't work out.

But now I guess we start looking forward to the next season.

But yeah, really said it's mind-boggling how quick it all goes, man.

From that, you know, from draft night to now, Jerry.

It's pretty unbelievable how fast.
