I don't know what it was, but yesterday,

I would say Friday, Saturday even, I was probably less excited about this opening day than I've

ever been in all my years, watching the Giants. And we talked about the fact that they were going to

struggle. We kind of knew they would. When that game started, I got a little excited that they scored, but you knew it was coming.

I guess what I didn't know was, I expected no pass rush, because you can't magically get that

when all we did in preseason was complain about or talk about the fact that these guys can't rush the passer.

But the mayhem in the secondary where guys are running uncovered was absolutely inexcusable.

And we'll get into the flaws on this team and DeAndre Baker getting beat.

I can live with things like that. He's a rookie.

But the fact that guys were running free, no pass rush, I thought the defense was absolutely

disgraceful.

I thought they were terrible.
