All right, John, the last time we talked was right after the draft and before Free Agency began, so we have much to discuss here.

And where I want to begin is with the news that the Atlanta

Hawks have acquired Bogdan Bogdanovich, the Kings, decided not to match. And so I haven't really

had a chance to talk about that too much. And the Hawks are, of course, your hometown team. So what

aspect of that do you want to hit on first?

I think one of the things that's important for people to realize is that it's not just the acquisition here.

It's the fact that the Hawks are replacing such shitty players from a year ago with average to good players.

And you really see this.

The part everyone

forgets about, they traded for Clint Capella. He didn't play a game for him. So that takes

like the worst center position in the league from last year and makes it probably league

average or above this year. And then you're doing the same thing on the perimeter where you go

from Vince Carter as your backup

four to Danilo Gallinari and he's probably going to play a lot of minutes across multiple

positions too.

But back up four, do you think Gallo is not even going to start, huh?

What they are, what they are seem to be saying right now is that Gallinari will come

off the bench behind Collins.

And I'm interested to see how this works in practice because I agree you do not play Gallinari at the three, right? Like,

you already have Trey Young. No, you don't. So I'm on board with that part. I mean, I think they are

going to try it, though. Like, I think it'll fail, but I think they are going to try it. I mean, I think they are going to try it, though.
