And last night, our Lakers, basically the controller got unplugged as they got slacked in the second

half. Yet another third quarter where they got outscored by 20 plus points.

Same thing happened against Dallas a couple of games ago. And Dee, I texted you when the

Lakers were up by about eight, I believe, in the first half. And I said, we are going to lose this

game because I had just seen way too many offensive rebounds surrendered. And between the offensive rebounds and just loose balls in general, bouncing right in front

of players and them just not reacting to it at all, that is just a recipe for disaster.

And it had a level of, I've seen this before, I had a feeling where it was going.

And you made a great comp last night comparing it to the first

Atlanta game where the Lakers were in Atlanta and sort of the way that that game went. That was the,

I think, 13th game and 23 nights, right? It's the fourth game of an eight game road trip. On a team

that doesn't have a ton of guys that are, you know, in their early 20s, that are motor players just as a natural way of being. Lots of reasons for it, Dee, but, you know, I think of the term 50-50 ball that implies that it's this ball that's up for grabs and you're going to get it half the time and I'm going to get it half the time. I am thrilled whenever they're 50-50 balls for the Lakers because we're kind of slow even

when everybody's trying their best.

And so on a night like that, those are 2080 balls on a lot of instances that you just can't win
