Summary
It was supposed to be a normal day in the late ’70s — bad perms, disco on the radio, and teenage daydreams. But for Ellen MacNeil, that day would change her life forever. It began with a feeling — a heaviness she couldn’t shake, a shadow that lingered behind every laugh in the high school hallway.
Then came the signs. The photo of her brother falling from the wall. Her watch freezing in time. A strange chill that seemed to move with her through the house. And the phone call — the one that confirmed what her soul already knew. Her brother had been killed in Vietnam.
